Who we are

GUERILLA DANCE CLUB™ is a multidisciplinary project anchored by dance. Videos are a film in a film (sometimes in a film). The first layer, the dance film, is created and projected onto an exterior, industrial surface. That projection of the dance film is filmed creating the film in a film.

Heavy, dark exterior surfaces are activated by dance, light and an appeal to see beyond convention. These films challenge perspective and express will, dissent and strength. The body, time, music, film and urban structure intertwine to forward the project of asserting an independence that pulls from rather than pushing away the world.
